We honor the accomplishments of the game's finest players. The organization presents exhibitions that explore the history of the game, as well as its remarkable impact on arts and culture. These unique programs are designed to appeal to both the chess novice and expert, defying expectations and enhancing knowledge of the game. We believe we have the largest collection on the west coast. This inspiration helps youth and veterans.

 We create jobs and teach why learning chess is so important. Chess teaches so many life lessons that helps adults as well as young people reach personal achievements. Chess teaches us to minimize our losses and move on, to make great decisions, build confidence, and to look for opportunities. Chess also helps us limit distractions and weigh options. We meet the growing needs of U.S. veterans by supporting them in overcoming PTSD. Our chess café will help change many lives.
